I wrote this first in FB - not for any particular reason .... well yes, the reason was how I get so easily hurt if people don't like me ... the kind of all consuming like - not a 'real' thing either...It's usually just in my head...anyhoo I thought this summed up better than I could express
I don't need you to 'like' me or 'like' what I do or say.
The problem starts when I 'think' that you may not and then I take that personally
When I just 'shrug' it off and let go with kindness and good thoughts then...
I don't feel so shitty about myself
So it was never you...it was my lack of 'loving' me that caused the problem
